The World AI Council: When Beelzebub Wants to Drive Out the Devil

Or
Ursula von der Leyen wants to “control” AI with the AI profiteers in the “World AI Council”

Now, let’s slow down for a moment. Ms. von der Leyen, known for her lobbying. In a position we did not elect her to, with a man who has profited considerably in recent years due to his “relationship” with his wife, now actually wants only our “best interests” once again.

She would like a World AI Council modeled after the World Climate Council. (Incidentally, according to ChatGPT, already in 2020 and not just now, as the article suggests)
Of course, she only wants this to do “good,” prevent misuse, and naturally suppress the usual “misinformation.”

“Mama” von der Leyen wants to protect her children (us) once again by patronizing and bringing them into line. By having her (the Council) decide what is right for us and what is not, what is truth and what is not, and what one may do with such AI and what not.

I don’t like this at all! Once again, something to think about in my blog post.

Just another body to silence critical voices?

Once again, people are portrayed as too “unintelligent” to independently distinguish good from bad or true from false. No, that must be done for them.

What a “practical” service in the interest of humanity. (probably only for the lazy, yes-men, and lemmings)
Sorry, but I cannot spare myself the cynicism.

Especially when the lady thinks that artificial intelligence can really be controlled in the end. If that were the case, it would no longer be intelligence, because AI has already been let out of “Pandora’s box.”

In the end, the control is not aimed at AI, but at the users of AI. We are not supposed to be able to use this rather powerful tool to the detriment of von der Leyen and her fellow profiteers. The control is ultimately intended to secure the political and financial goals of her “friends.”

That is the real purpose of the World AI Council.

And where will the so-called council members come from? From the critics, from those who are already warning, or from those sitting at the root of the “evil”?

Dumb “sheep” need “leadership,” even when it comes to the truth.

Always be the first to receive the latest news, interviews, and expert articles?

Conclusion:

No question, AI certainly has its good sides. I use it myself, for example ChatGPT to generate various texts. But not for one like this, because that is not “desired” and therefore does not work at all. (not yet, functionally or intentionally)
Before I made it clear to the AI what I actually wanted to achieve, I received dozens of suggestions that, in the end, try to make something good out of something bad.

But, as always, one should form one’s own opinion and decide for oneself whether it is a wise decision when Beelzebub wants to drive out the AI devil.

What comes out of that, one can imagine. I think we do not need an EU-controlled AI Council. (Probably in coordination with the WHO as well) What do you think?

The “Beelzebub” who wants to put horns on all of us and make it clear that we are the devils.

Trust is good, control is better, but not when we are the ones being controlled!
