Digital censorship—and everyone is joining in (almost everyone), but do not celebrate too soon!
Because it is NOT for our protection!
In IT, the term “single point of truth” is well known. It refers to accessing data for analyses and evaluations from one source, not from 20 different ones. After all, anyone who wants to make decisions needs reliable data from reliable sources—ideally from a single one.
In IT, that makes sense, because a company can decide for itself what the “truth” is that is reflected in its own data.
But is politics allowed to do that? Is the state allowed to do that? Is there really only ONE truth in life? What is truth anyway, and how can we recognize it—or even assess it?
Questions upon questions that we should be asking ourselves—and that WE should also have answers to.
Is it right that politicians, the state, the WHO, the UN, UNESCO, or the World Economic Forum, together with all those whose own interests are behind it, define and spread the “truth assigned to us”—or should we not be able to weigh one piece of information against another and recognize for ourselves which truth is the truth for us?
In this video, Ms. von der Leyen calls for a fight against misinformation and disinformation. For many, that may sound plausible, but not to me. Because I still have my own brain, my own heart, and my gut feeling to assess things, statements, or hypotheses myself.
Anyone who wants to train people to become willing recipients of centrally controlled truth (which has been happening for a long time) is creating an opinion dictatorship—something that is really only necessary if a general dictatorship is also being pursued.
Wait a second—has he lost it again, some will ask? Call it whatever you want, but do not misunderstand the real purpose behind Uschi’s initiative. This lady does not mean well by us; she means well by the compliant characters sitting on and in front of that stage.
Because these individuals aspire to decide everything that affects us and our lives—and I do not agree with that at all.
Anyone who looks closely has to realize that misinformation and disinformation are coming from that very stage.
So what could be more obvious than to label all other information as false, dangerous, and divisive?
This is where the rich and powerful sit, with only one goal: more money and more power—and that has worked brilliantly in recent years.
You should not point at dressed people with bare fingers. That can backfire. And Uschi and her associates are afraid of losing control. Digital censorship—especially digital and media censorship—is a proven tool for that, which I would like to examine in this blog post from the aspects mentioned. More in the article.
What does the unelected woman from the club of the unelected have to tell us?
The “worst-case” scenario
Hans Huber has a LinkedIn® account. By now, he has received multiple cease-and-desist letters, and yesterday his account was deleted.
All 2,746 contacts/followers are gone. He only has the direct contact details for a few. After all, he relied on the LinkedIn network. He kept saying that the deletion was unlawful. But what is he supposed to do? Hire an expensive lawyer?
But then the domino effect begins. Since LinkedIn® belongs to Microsoft®, this account deletion was also passed on. There, they decided that Hans is one of the customers they no longer want. That is why his Office365® account is terminated. And now comes the kicker:
Hans also has a Windows license on his computer. On Monday, he receives a message that he has 24 hours to back up his data, after which his Windows license will simply be deactivated.
Seriously? Yes, exactly. That will then be possible. You cannot be nice anymore to bad boys like Hans. After all, he has turned against the “regime”. Something like that must be punished as harshly as possible!

In the worst case, nothing works anymore in the end. Technically—and then “legally”—possible.
Countermeasures: Individual networking as an alternative to controlled platforms
Let us be honest. We all depend on the communication ecosystem of platforms such as LinkedIn®, Xing®, X®, YouTube®, TikTok® and others.
However, these privately controlled companies are closely networked with the organizations mentioned at the beginning. So closely that contracts already exist with almost all of them, supporting the implementation of those organizations’ rules there.
What constitutes mis- and disinformation is defined elsewhere. Blocking or deletion then simply follows those rules.
AI now makes this very easy. I am surely already on a “list” of the bad, critical mis- and disinformation people. And even though I have never been blocked, it can happen faster than you might think.
But what do you do then?
Always be the first to receive the latest news, interviews, and expert articles?
And everyone is eagerly playing along
Microsoft® as well, because with their new terms and conditions they can simply decide when someone writes non-compliant texts. Thanks to the new AI, this becomes even easier.
By the way, this applies to all Microsoft® applications. Whether you write an “inappropriate text” in MS Word® or make a corresponding statement in MS Teams®. Because, whether you want it or not, everything is diligently logged. With AI, of course.
Anyone who believes this only happens when you “turn it on” should pinch themselves and ask whether they are dreaming.
In general, companies’ AI (artificial intelligence) makes this possible. It can analyze as much as it wants. In this case, AI is definitely a threat to freedom of expression and a means to an end for the surveillance state.
I have already written a detailed blog post about this.

In Ireland, people are already actively pushing back against the “Hate Speech Law”
They have recognized what is being planned here. And it is not something to celebrate. It is common practice for controlled politics to simply try something out and see what happens.
Jean-Claude Juncker already confirmed this in detail back in 1999. So they are telling us directly to our faces.
“We decide something, put it out there, and then wait for a while to see what happens. If there is no big outcry and no uprisings—because most people do not even understand what was decided—then we continue, step by step, until there is no turning back.”

You can fight back, too. They are doing it in Ireland.

We are all digital junkies—what happens if they take away our “fix”?
Quite apart from the fact that censorship is simply unacceptable in any way, we do have to ask ourselves how dependent we are on digital media.
We consume and produce content “like there is no tomorrow”. We text, we blog, we leave voice messages, we comment, we forward, we copy and paste, we link—and so on and so forth.
Ask yourselves: with how many of your contacts, for example on LinkedIn, have you ever spoken in person? Yet people exchange and forward things partly every day. With some people, you have to wonder whether they do anything else at all.
And now imagine you are suddenly censored and NOTHING—absolutely nothing—works anymore! What then?

We are all digital junkies

But censorship does not just mean kicking someone out—it also means no longer being found
If someone used to be there and suddenly is missing, it stands out. But what if you go online in good faith and unaware, and, for example, search for alternative health topics? That has become quite problematic.
Even directly on platforms like YouTube, the algorithms are set up so that you can no longer find many, many things.
What is allowed to be found is now determined by the WHO. Contracts with Microsoft and others then regulate this on the platforms.
An excellent example is Dr. Berg, with > 11 MILLION subscribers on YouTube®, yet increasingly hard to find. And he provides very valuable content. The WHO and the pharmaceutical industry do not like that at all.
That is why there is creeping censorship.

No longer being found. Example: Dr. Berg

Everything will be affected
Social media, chats, online meeting platforms, meeting systems, phones, email systems. Simply EVERYTHING.
Anyone who wants that and still thinks they have “nothing to hide” can keep sitting on their couch with chips and cola.
Everyone else should start taking action—slowly but surely. Because if it is up to them, even a “Olaf is stupid” is enough to land on the “black list” (or green, yellow, or orange, for all I care). What do you think happens then?
Conclusion:
Censorship is a proven tool for those who are afraid that too much is being communicated—too much that is critical. As so often, these measures do not serve to protect us, but serve entirely different purposes.
Everyone should ask themselves whether they want that. I do not.
Resist the beginnings! But we are already in the middle of it—so act now!
