My Consulting Mobile: With All the Bells and Whistles!

Done. A milestone has been achieved. Finally, I know what will define my “new home”.

Goal achieved: Living and working in the smallest space!

(a quick confession: This isn’t it, this is an older model that comes somewhat close to “my new one”.

The list of the most important features:

  • 2 solar modules on the roof with 210 kW (for now, certainly more later)
  • 2 lithium leisure batteries
  • 1 gas oven
  • 1 permanently installed trailer hitch
  • 1 rear-view camera
  • 1 bike carrier for 2 bicycles etc.

This was already included in the pre-ordered vehicle

  • 9-speed automatic transmission
  • 2 drop-down beds (rear and front)
  • LED daytime running lights
  • Insulated floor for winter etc.

During the day, a sofa like in a lounge.
The table base will be replaced with an electric standing desk.

The space is essentially converted into an office.

And at night, the office becomes a bedroom.
With a large bed, a roof window, and plenty of space without any problem of hitting your head on the ceiling when you want to sit upright.

Oops, this is getting quite expensive! Thinking about all the small items, such as:

  • Water hose with all relevant connections
  • Cable reel for motorhomes incl. adapter and bag for bad weather
  • 2 large garden chairs
  • 2 stools
  • Automatic measurement of gas bottle contents
  • System for automatic switching from an empty to a full gas bottle (otherwise it can get cold at night!)
  • 1 foldable aluminum table and so on…..
