Digitalization

Thank you! 2,000 followers.

In recent weeks, I set myself the goal of increasing the number of followers and thus gaining more reach.

I achieved that today. Thank you very much to everyone!

As a critical digitalisation consultant, in my posts I point out not only the opportunities, but even more so the risks of digitalisation.

Because far too many do not take the topic of digitalisation particularly seriously. Even more have already given up and submitted to the endless data collection and analysis by corporations and the state.

Especially those who hold the naive view “I have nothing to hide” will, at the latest, fall from their high horse of indifference when it affects them digitally at the “collar”.

Anyone who, like me, also looks at digitalisation behind the scenes is well aware of what is happening here right now.

It is not about making our lives easier. It is also not about creating new services. In the end, the saying applies here too: “follow the money”. Because it is solely and exclusively about making money through control and surveillance.

As someone who recently dared to take the step into a motorhome on a campsite, in the middle of the forest in the Palatinate, I am searching more intensely for the meaning behind it all.

And yes, a lot makes sense, but unfortunately not “in the interest” of people, but only in the interest of corporations and the state.

A critical person, as I am, never stops questioning. They do not believe anything at first and then do not allow themselves to be persuaded, but form their own opinion.

Yes, that is time-consuming and sometimes also annoying. But at least then I can say with every justification that my decisions are based on a foundation that I can represent openly and honestly.

And yes, I believe that the right kind of digitalisation can offer real added value for all of us. At home or at work or anywhere else. AI, artificial intelligence, certainly helps with that too.

But we should be clear about one thing: whoever controls the digital systems controls us. To be honest, I have little desire for the control that is taking hold ever faster and is not exactly developing in the spirit of a free person.

That is why I hope my posts help you take a look behind the scenes yourself, question things, and gain your own insights. Some will be frightening, some will be surprising, and some will be joyful.

It is worth it. Because each of us is a small cog that is also capable of saying NO when necessary. For yourself, for your family, for friends, or simply because. Have the courage!

You are COOL. Thank you!
