Eureka! The contract is signed.
You would think that now you’re just “waiting.” Until the thing arrives.
But true to the motto “After the signature comes before the signature,” you think of this, that, and the other. And suddenly, you need to provide another signature.
What has changed for me? I’ll tell you.
a.) In some videos, it was mentioned that it’s much more comfortable in winter to have a carpet on the floor. Sounds logical. So “purchased.” (Cost approx. €400)
b.) I actually wanted a small, portable mini-oven, but in the end I decided on a real gas oven after all. Not least because this installation eliminates 2 drawers, but the countertop becomes much larger and the Thermomix fits easily. Hooray! (Cost approx. €980)
c.) Anyone who wants power for longer periods and doesn’t want to worry about complete battery discharge should install lithium batteries from the start. After watching several videos on the topic and calculating my power requirements without a socket at a campsite, I decided to do this as well. (Cost approx. €1,900)
d.) Even though I don’t have a satellite system on the roof (I prefer more space for additional solar panels), I’m now having a TV mount installed in the back. This would hardly be possible later, since you have to fasten the screws with nuts behind the wooden wall (which isn’t particularly thick). That would be a huge undertaking and much more expensive, so I’m having it installed right away. (Cost approx. €340)
That adds up to quite a bit. However, you should carefully consider what you do, because some things won’t be possible later or will be extremely expensive.
If you’re financing the whole thing, it becomes complicated anyway.
