\nUrsula von der Leyen wants to “control”<\/strong><\/em> AI with the AI profiteers in the “World AI Council”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Now, let’s slow down for a moment. Ms. von der Leyen, known for her lobbying. In a position we did not elect her to, with a man who has profited considerably in recent years due to his “relationship”<\/strong><\/em> with his wife, now actually wants only our “best interests”<\/strong><\/em> once again. <\/p>\n

She would like a World AI Council<\/strong> modeled after the World Climate Council.<\/strong> (Incidentally, according to ChatGPT, already in 2020 and not just now, as the article suggests)
\nOf course, she only wants this to do “good,”<\/em> prevent misuse, and naturally suppress the usual “misinformation.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“Mama”<\/strong><\/em> von der Leyen wants to protect her children (us) once again by patronizing and bringing them into line. By having her (the Council) decide what is right for us and what is not, what is truth and what is not, and what one may do with such AI and what not. <\/p>\n

I don’t like this at all! <\/strong>Once again, something to think about in my blog post.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Just another body to silence critical voices?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Once again, people are portrayed as too “unintelligent”<\/strong> to independently distinguish good from bad or true from false. No, that must be done for them. <\/p>\n

What a “practical”<\/strong> service in the interest of humanity. (probably only for the lazy, yes-men, and lemmings)
\nSorry, but I cannot spare myself the cynicism. <\/p>\n

Especially when the lady thinks that artificial intelligence can really be controlled in the end. If that were the case, it would no longer be intelligence, because AI has already been let out of “Pandora’s box.”<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n

In the end, the control is not aimed at AI, but at the users of AI.<\/strong> We are not supposed to be able to use this rather powerful tool to the detriment of von der Leyen and her fellow profiteers. The control is ultimately intended to secure the political and financial goals of her “friends.” <\/p>\n

That is the real purpose of the World AI Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And where will the so-called council members come from? From the critics, from those who are already warning, or from those sitting at the root of the “evil”?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
