Me! Because I recently acquired an external antenna for my LTE Wi-Fi router, and it&#8217;s currently saving my bacon, \ud83d\ude09 at least as far as the internet is concerned! (even if the quality is poorer, there&#8217;s still a &#8216;piece&#8217; of the signal somewhere)   <\/p>\n<p>I can already hear dice games from the neighbors because nothing electronic is working anymore. That&#8217;s actually quite nice! <\/p>\n<p>Honestly, how do you feel when the internet is no longer available? Many are currently experiencing this, unable to make calls or access the internet via smartphone, and many more cannot even access their Vodafone emails. You&#8217;ll be the first to know everything.  <\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The outage is really severe, affecting 52 postal codes according to Vodafone&#8217;s outage map. <\/p>\n<p>The much-praised cloud, which is supposedly so simple, comfortable, and so on, is precisely the worst horse to bet on in these cases of internet outages.<\/p>\n<p>Which company actually has an emergency plan for an internet outage? Who can still work &#8220;manually&#8221;? Who doesn&#8217;t experience withdrawal symptoms if they don&#8217;t constantly know everything about everyone, no matter how unimportant it is? Almost everyone? Absolutely.    <\/p>\n<p>Now, at the latest, it&#8217;s time to seriously develop an emergency strategy. Not just technically, but also regarding manual continued work, without the entire operation coming to a standstill. If you&#8217;re interested, feel free to contact me. If you want to report a disruption, you need internet, even if you don&#8217;t have any. So, off to the cafe to try an online report. With Freenet-Mobilcom, which uses Vodafone here, it&#8217;s not possible via email, and with Vodafone, it&#8217;s somehow not possible online at all. (Maybe I&#8217;m just too &#8220;blonde&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>So, I quickly went to the phone that was working there. I reported the issue, and then the information came from the nice, but probably not so competent, lady on the phone: <em><strong>&#8220;The technician will call you back then&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. Okay, I wonder, how is that supposed to work if my phone isn&#8217;t working? Am I supposed to spend the rest of the day at the cafe? Where have we ended up?    <\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;But call them there, they can record it directly.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> Said and done. But here again, the same answer. This, by the way, came from the somewhat dumber &#8220;artificial chatbot intelligence&#8221; at Vodafone. I had typed that there was a total outage, and there too, the information was that I would be called back.   <\/p>\n<p>Finally, I requested a callback that I can&#8217;t even answer. So, now I&#8217;ve given it back to you!
